Love this Flat Cheesy Buns. So easy to make using Thermomix.
Ingredients
Filling
50g Castor Sugar
150g Cream Cheese (I use Philadelphia Cream Cheese)
Bread Dough
150g Bread Flour (High Protein Flour)
120g Pao Flour (Medium Protien Flour)
100g Water
30g Raw Sugar
5g Dried Yeast
1 Egg
50g Butter
30g Raisin or Dried Cranberry
Useful items:
2 Rectangular Baking Tray
Parchment paper
Preparation:
1. Weigh in sugar into TM bowl to pulverize. (10 Sec Speed 10)
2. Add in cream cheese to mix. (10 Sec Speed 6) Transfer Buns filling into a bowl and chill it in d fridge before use.
3. Place all dough ingredients except raisins or cranberry into Tm bowl to knead. (4 mins Knead) Last 1 Min, pour raisins or cranberry thru the lid opening to mix.
4. Take out dough from TM bowl and roll out dough onto lightly floured Thermo Mat and divide it into 12 equal portions and form it into ball.
5. With aid of rolling pin roll out each ball into a round disc and place filling in d the middle and seal it by folding the edge together.
6. Place each wrapped dough about 3 cm apart onto baking tray lined with parchment paper. Repeat step 5 till all dough is done.
7. Place another baking tray on top of the wrapped dough and let it proof for about 30 mins in a warm place.
8. Baking well proven dough in preheated oven of 180 C for 15 to 20 mins.
9. Cool buns on wire rack and ready to serve.
