SOLD! We are now living and working in the Virgin Islands, where I assisted my buyer on the purchase of this Dragonfly 1200 folding trimaran. This Danish built trimaran has a beam of 28ft when sailing with amas that are designed to fold in, giving her a beam of 14ft for docking and hauling out. What a fun boat to sail on sea trail! We survived the stormiest 3 days of survey (usually only 1 day) to secure my buyer’s dream boat.

A different day, a different bay (as Lisa says). It was so great to meet up with Ocean (and the humans on and ). We haven’t seen these sailing homies since our way back up the Eastern Caribbean in 2024 and it was like no time passed at all.

Please note the singing shark at shack in the first pic. And hang the second pic in the Met. The best photograph I’ve ever accidentally taken 😆🤗 also, please welcome our new bb gecko, Cousin Greg II.

SOLD // Cheers to my buyers on their new Leopard 53 Power Cat, Breathe!

An alternative cruising platform with a multitude of merits: speed (we hit 22knots so smoothly), luxurious living space with the layout of a beamy catamaran, easy-access engine rooms with space for additional systems.

Bonus: I took the most beautiful plane ride from Staniel Cay, Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale to survey this amazing yacht.

as we finish out our time in the Bahamas and I’ve been sick and trying to stay away from people, I’ve been shelling hard. my goal was to find another helmet conch or tritan’s trumpet before we leave and within 20 minutes or saying that outloud, I found an empty baby helmet at the site of the old pipe creek swings. Exuma magic or does manifestation sometimes work? two days ago I found a bunch of olives (shells) on a beach south of Blackpoint and yesterday I found a handful of cowries after a tip from . those islands will now be renamed on our map Olive Beach and Cowrie Beach, respectively. gotta get out of here before we take on much more shell weight.
Bonus: iguanas on the backside leeward side of cowrie beach

Happy 4th Gotcha Day to our Bitty Rose! Four years ago today we closed on our boat home and moved aboard. After moving back from Germany in 2021, we got to work on finding our boat and we are still so in love with her. It’s crazy how much life has changed since then. Life aboard is a happy chapter with lots of hard work. Cheers to all the amazing people we’ve met on the water—you’ve made these four years so incredible.
