Status Update: Private vessels and aircrafts!

The Association of Bahamas Marinas welcomes the news that our borders will reopen for private boating traffic on June 15 and we stand ready to facilitate the process in compliance with the government’s health regulations.

Of course, as with travel to any foreign destination in the post-COVID-19 environment, there are procedures to be followed and we intend to make the processes as streamlined as possible. We are determined to preserve the Bahamas experience that our loyal boaters know and love.

Well in advance of June 15 we will place on our website www.bahamasmarinas.com the necessary links to facilitate the process for boaters to enter The Bahamas.

Important Cruiser Information!!!

CRUISING PERMIT UPDATE - we have just received the following update from the Bahamas Customs Department:

"Because of the Emergency Orders that are in place, any vessel in Bahamian waters whose Cruising Permit expires will not be penalized. Once the E/O has been lifted, the renewal process will be resumed."
