The Bahamas Department of Meteorology has issued a severed weather watch on Saturday 16th May 2026, for the area of Northwest & Central Bahamas including New Providence, Andros, Eleuthera, the Exumas and Cat Island. The is a concern of possible flooding in many areas.

2. Be prepared for a power outage. Keep a secondary light and buy new batteries.

3. Keep some cash in case of emergency.

4. Drive Carefully while operating a motor vehicle. Do not speed.
