DON'T BE THROWN FROM YOUR PLACE OF EXCELLENCY ( *Psalm 62: 4* )

*Psalm 82*
6. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
GOD the LORD calls you a god! Saved or not, He says that you and I are His children. As His children He states in vs 3-4 of this same Psalm, that we need to do certain things: look out for the poor and fatherless; seek justice for the poor and needy; and deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.
There are enemies of our souls who fight to keep us from operating as the gods that we are: *Psalm 62: 4* says that they conspire to cast us down from our place of *excellency* as sons and daughters of the Most High. They lie and send curses to keep us distracted from our true purpose on the earth. When our next entertainment, promotion, or possession becomes more important than showing kindness to someone, they have won!
The LORD expects us to *dominate* everything that wants to dominate us and live up to our godship. We are to be like Christ in all that we do so that in the end we have the power to choose the time, place and circumstances of our departure from the earth.
The LORD does not want us to go out like "mere men" but like gods!!! How do you want to live and die?
"Here am I and all the children GOD has given me."
