Last Friday, God did a thing.
It is tempting to focus on the outcome—the success of an event—and overlook the foundation and the Source behind it all.
It would be remiss of me not to celebrate and testify about the goodness of God. God truly moved.
To the hundreds in the room, Live2Lead Bahamas was described as “transformational,” “amazing,” “life-changing,” and “world-class.” I appreciate those words, but to me, Friday was the manifestation of the daily confession written on the dry-erase board above my desk: “God will do exceedingly, abundantly above all I can ask, think, or imagine” (Ephesians 3:20).
Yes, it took planning. Yes, it took our hands to make it happen. But every hand was an extension of God’s hands, helping to bring transformation, growth, reflection, and meaningful change.
I recently shared how I struggled with imposter syndrome. Four years ago, at my first Live2Lead, I decided to “do it afraid.” That decision became the beginning of a journey that has stretched my faith, strengthened my confidence, and reminded me that God equips us as we move forward.
I share this as a testimony of God’s faithfulness and to encourage every dreamer, builder, and visionary to do it…even if you do it afraid! But do it because others need whatever “it” is…As a mentor once told me, “it is NOT about you”. Trust God with the outcome, and watch Him do a thing!
