People are and will always be our greatest asset. Your abilities and contributions are an important key to the success of our Bahamaland.
Your workers do a wonderful job at all times. They are efficient, reliable and faithful to the task assigned. They are very valuable and important, and I must commend them! Because of them, we have a sanitary, healthy, clean hygienic environment in which we can live and the air stays fresh and unpolluted to breathe. Your work is important to me and the community, and the fact that you are putting tremendous efforts into it shows a great deal of dedication and commitment. Great performances and good ones like yours do not go unnoticed or unappreciated.

We bring you greetings from Impac Waste Management. We hope that this note finds you and your families doing well at this time and that you are in preparation of things to come during this worldwide Coronavirus pandemic.

At Impac Waste, we consider ourselves an “Essential Service”, so will be here to serve you throughout this crisis i.e. Attending to all of your waste disposal needs, whether Commercial or Residential. As a reminder, we can also provide Portable Restrooms, Handwash stations, Roll-off Dumpsters, 2yd and 4yd Covered Bins and general welding services.

Our In-house Office operating hours may vary, however our phone lines will be forwarded to multiple cell phone contacts when warranted. We would appreciate if you contact first before visiting our offices. However, Our Operational Drivers and front line staff will be there to make certain your surroundings remain clean during the crisis.

As you all ought to be aware, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) launched a $10 million appeal to assist The Bahamas in regards to the devastation brought on by Hurricane Dorian. As it stands, the organization is currently supporting the country through grants from the United States and the UN Central Emergency Relief Fund, representing nearly $2 million of the appeal.

The funding has allowed IOM to begin debris removal in Abaco, in partnership with the NGO Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE). In coordination with the government of The Bahamas, through its emergency response agency NEMA, the daily removal of over 100 cubic meters of debris has been noted. This number alone shines light on the immediate attention of debris removal, as the situation calls for multiple forces to alleviate burden and accelerate the process entirely, so that we may finally initiate the rebuild stage.

Thus, we here at Impac are offering our full support as it relates to the complete removal of debris in Abaco. This is our community and let it be known that we are stronger together than we are alone. Therefore, we’re asking for helping hands to join us during this campaign, as we seek to build a better Bahamas.

Today was a turning point in an historic event as Waste Resources Development Group (WRDG) and our Financial partner Providence advisors accepted the responsibility for operation, management and remediation of the New Providence Landfill. The acceptance of this P3 demonstrates the government confidence in the abilities of Bahamians to properly manager our affairs
