ARE WE CALLED TO SOW… OR TO DO?

I hear this often in church:
👉 “Sow on this word.”

So I asked myself a simple question:

Is this what Jesus actually taught?
Yes, the Bible teaches giving.
Yes, it teaches generosity.

But it also teaches something just as strongly:

“Be doers of the word, and not hearers only.” (James 1:22)
When Jesus preached, He didn’t ask people to give money on the word.

He asked them to respond with action:
• “Go and sin no more.”
• “Take up your bed and walk.”
• “Go show yourself to the priest.”
• “Follow Me.”

Jesus didn’t create spectators. He created participants. Faith was never meant to stop at hearing —faith moves when we do.

This year is not just about hearing good sermons. It’s about application, obedience, and action.
