𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀 & 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁
It was a pleasure for 𝗣𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗧𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗖𝗘𝗢 & 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗸𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁, to engage with young entrepreneurs, aspiring founders, and youth job seekers at the 𝗬𝗔𝗬 𝗚𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗯 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, held at the Startup Center, Changzamtok, Thimphu, on August 20, 2026.
The session explored entrepreneurship, technology, innovation, employability, and the opportunities emerging from Bhutan’s growing digital economy.
Drawing from DrukSmart’s journey since 2017—from serving local clients to expanding into international markets and building capabilities across enterprise technology, cloud, data, AI, and digital solutions—the discussion highlighted the opportunities to build careers and businesses from Bhutan for the world.
A key message for the participants was that success is not limited to starting a business. There is immense opportunity in developing relevant skills, gaining practical experience, embracing technology, and becoming part of innovative companies and emerging industries.
For aspiring entrepreneurs, great ideas require persistence, ex*****on, technology, and the courage to think beyond traditional boundaries. For job seekers, the future belongs to those who continuously learn, adapt, and build skills that create value.
As Bhutan moves towards a stronger digital and AI-enabled economy, our youth have a critical role to play—not only as entrepreneurs, but also as skilled professionals, innovators, problem-solvers, and future leaders.
DrukSmart is proud to contribute to this ecosystem by sharing experiences, opening perspectives, and encouraging the next generation of Bhutanese entrepreneurs and professionals to dream bigger and look beyond borders.
