From Thimphu’s waste to Wangsimo’s fields. ♻️

Our recycled plastic poles are now being used on the slopes of Wangsimo for chain-link fencing. Strong, durable, and made from plastic waste, these poles show how waste can be turned into something useful.

This is one small but practical step towards solving Bhutan’s waste problem through recycling and innovation.

We would like to thank Mr. Tandin Wangchuk for trusting us and supporting the testing of these recycled products in the field.

Turning waste into useful products for a cleaner Bhutan. 🇧🇹♻️

This World Environment Day, we celebrate the power of action over intention.

What began as a vision to transform waste into opportunity has grown into a movement that is recovering plastic, creating green jobs, empowering women, and building Bhutan’s circular economy.

Every bottle deposited, every Eco-Pole produced, and every kilogram of waste diverted is proof that plastic pollution is not an impossible challenge, it is a solvable one. ♻️

At Greener Way, we remain committed to turning waste into value and ensuring that plastic never becomes pollution.

What does 54.5 TONNES of low-grade, post-consumer plastic waste look like?
It looks like 25 fully loaded garbage trucks that will never pollute our beautiful landscapes or sit in a landfill. Instead, it looks like progress.

We are incredibly proud to share that Tarayana Foundation and Zhemgang Dzongkhag have placed a massive order for Greener Way’s signature Eco-Poles! These innovative, recycled poles are being deployed right now for crucial electrical fencing projects to protect community livelihoods and wildlife.

By choosing Eco-Poles, our partners aren’t just building fence, they are actively pioneering a circular economy in Bhutan.
Why Eco-Poles?

♻️Made 100% from low-grade post-consumer plastic.

💪Highly durable, weather-resistant, and eco-friendly.

🍀Directly reduces the nation’s landfill burden.

Thank you to Tarayana Foundation and the people of Zhemgang for trusting Greener Way and taking a monumental step toward a cleaner, greener Bhutan! 🇧🇹

Greener Way commemorates this significant day by honoring the enduring legacy of His Majesty The Third Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, whose vision laid the foundation for modern Bhutan. 🙏🇧🇹🙏

As we also celebrate Teachers’ Day, we recognise the invaluable role of educators in shaping minds and guiding the nation forward. May this day be filled with gratitude, and may Bhutan continue to flourish in peace, harmony, and prosperity under His enduring blessings.

Powered by Her. Driven by Purpose.

Behind every clean street and every recycled resource at Greener Way, there is the unwavering strength of a woman. Today, we celebrate the “Backbone of Waste Management”, the women who turn “discarded” into “dedicated.”

They don’t just manage waste; they protect our future. Their resilience is the silent force that keeps Bhutan pristine. To the women who lead, who labor, and who inspire us every single day, Happy International Women’s Day!
