At Sky Collection Agency, our story is more than just about debt collection-it's about a dream that started with nothing but a vision and the unwavering determination to turn it into reality.
Our Managing Director, Gabanamotse Nfichane, is the living proof that no dream is too big, and no challenge is too great. His journey into debt collection began in 2001, when he worked part-time at Pep Stores. Every weekend, he would help his senior (supervisor) who had a debt collection company—little did he know that these humble beginnings would one day lay the foundation for his own business.
In 2006, Mr Nfichane joined Lewis Stores as a full-time debt collector, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge. But life threw him a curveball in 2018 when he was retrenched. This could have been the end of the road for many, but not for Mr Nfichane. Instead, it became the spark that lit the fire for Sky Collection Agency (Pty) Ltd.
Starting a business was not easy. There were sleepless nights, financial struggles, and the constant uncertainty of what tomorrow might bring. Yet, it was the support of his family, the encouragement of loyal customers, and the burning desire to make a difference that kept him going.

Looking back, Mr Nfichane says: “Never say never.” From the young man who was afraid to leave the security of a steady job, to the entrepreneur who built a debt-free business from the ground up, his story is a testament to the power of perseverance, faith, and the love of family.
