*Celebrating 60 Years of Independence with Our Communities*

As Botswana celebrates 60 years of Independence, we are proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone alongside the communities that continue to be part of our journey. To mark this special occasion, we contributed cattle across the three wards (Botshabelo, Ikageleng and Kagiso Kgotla). This gesture is rooted in unity, togetherness and the spirit of sharing that defines our beautiful nation. Beyond the contribution itself, it is about coming together, strengthening community bonds and honouring 60 years of Botswana’s resilience, progress and shared pride.

Here’s to our communities, our heritage and the beautiful journey of Botswana at 60. 🇧🇼💙Happy 60th Independence Anniversary, Botswana!

CARING BEYOND MINING

Today we joined SPTC in commemorating World Su***de Prevention Day under the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de.” The engagement at Ikageleng Kgotla promoted open conversations, awareness and the importance of creating supportive spaces where people can speak without fear of judgement. The initiative reinforced that su***de prevention is a shared responsibility and that listening, compassion and encouraging people to seek support can make a meaningful difference.

STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENTS- SHAPING PHIKWE’S ECONOMIC FUTURE

It was a pleasure welcoming Mr. Tefo Modise Setlhare- the newly appointed CEO of SPEDU. We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish him all the success as he takes on this important role in advancing the economic development agenda of the region.

More than a meet-and-greet, our conversation was a strategic dialogue centred on collaboration, partnership and a shared commitment to the economic regeneration of Selebi-Phikwe. The discussion underscored a fundamental truth: the future economic transformation of Phikwe cannot be carried by one institution alone. It calls for stakeholders to leverage their respective strengths, align resources and expertise, and work collectively towards a diversified, resilient and sustainable economic future.

Our aspiration as NexMetals Mining Corp is to help shape an approach that can serve as a benchmark for other mining houses and mining communities seeking to navigate the transition towards sustainable and resilient post-mining economies.

When we bring our strengths, resources and aspirations together, partnership becomes more than collaboration; it becomes a catalyst for meaningful and lasting transformation.

IMPACT BEYOND BOUNDARIES

Meaningful impact begins with showing up, building partnerships and supporting communities wherever we can. It starts with a commitment to make a difference, one community at a time. This past weekend, we were pleased to donate waste bins to the Zion Christian Church (ZCC), supporting cleaner and healthier surroundings. We also joined Tebo Ya Bokamoso Trust for the launch of the Adopt-a-Classroom Initiative at Thabololo Primary School, investing in a better learning environment for our children. We are calling on our stakeholders, business partners and other organisations to join us in extending meaningful support to our communities. Together, we can do more, reach further and create lasting impact.

Let’s take action. Let’s build together. Let’s create Impact Beyond Boundaries. It starts with small efforts.

Two Days. Two Communities. One Shared Commitment💜

Over the past two days, we had the privilege of taking part in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) awareness engagements in Mmadinare Village and Mapakata Settlement. These engagements provided an important opportunity to engage with community members, create safe spaces for conversation, raise awareness about GBV, and encourage communities to speak up, support survivors and stand together against violence.

GBV is not just a women’s issue; it is a community issue. Ending GBV requires all of us to take responsibility and actively contribute to creating safer, respectful and supportive communities. A heartfelt thank you to the communities of Mmadinare and Mapakate for participating in these important conversations.

Together, we can break the silence. Together, we can build safer communities. 💜

Taking NexMetals to the public.

Participating in platforms such as the Trade Up North is an important part of our journey as we continue to build meaningful relationships, share our vision, and contribute to conversations shaping the future of Botswana's mining industry.

The event, officially opened by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Botswana, Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders on topics including innovation, responsible mining, economic diversification, and sustainable growth. These conversations are essential in fostering collaboration, strengthening partnerships, and unlocking opportunities that will create long-term value for both the mining sector and the nation. As NexMetals continues its exploration journey, we remain committed to being a responsible corporate citizen, building trusted relationships, and contributing to Botswana's sustainable mining future.
