I had the honour of being the keynote speaker at the 𝗙𝗡𝗕 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, under the theme “𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗹𝘆.”

Standing before approximately 350 leaders, I shared parts of my journey the curiosity, the rejections, the courage to begin, and the resilience to keep going. From a little girl fascinated by how things worked to founding Drones For Africa, every chapter has taught me something about leading through uncertainty.

One message I carried onto that stage was this: 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. 𝗜𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁.

When FNB Botswana’s CEO, Mr Bogatsu, lit a candle, it brought another truth to life: 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀. There is room to grow, to help others rise, and to lead in a way that makes their journey a little brighter.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹. 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲, 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆, “𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂, 𝗚𝗼𝗱.” 🤍
Thank You for another year of life. For the breath in my lungs, the people I love, and the blessing of still being here to love them, laugh with them, and make more memories together.

When I look at my life, I see Your hand. I see prayers answered, strength given, and doors opened. I remember moments when I didn’t know how things would work out, and somehow, You made a way. There are things I can explain, and others where all I can say is, “God came through for me.”

I am where I am because of what You have done for me. I am who I am because of how You have loved me, carried me, and helped me grow. Whatever I have been able to do, Your grace has been part of every step.

My life is a testimony that there is a living God in heaven. I see evidence of Your love in the blessings I receive every day even the familiar ones I sometimes forget to stop and appreciate.

Thank You for being with me in the moments everyone sees and the quiet moments only You know about. For listening when my prayers were clear, and when all I could manage was, “Lord, please.” Thank You for watching over the people I love. Their lives, their love, and their presence in mine mean more than I can put into words.

Today, I want to give You the glory. I want to pause long enough to appreciate how much You have done for me, and how precious this life You have given me really is.

As I step into another year, help me enjoy it fully. To laugh freely, make beautiful memories, notice the little joys, and be present for the life I have prayed for. May I keep recognising Your goodness and saying thank You along the way.

For another year, another chance, and so many reasons to be grateful thank You, Father. All the glory belongs to You. 🙏🏽🤍

𝗜 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. ❤️

There’s something about Monday that fills me with 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆. Another chance to correct last week’s mistakes, make that call I kept postponing, and give my time to the people and things I didn’t show up for last week.

A chance to say, “𝗜’𝗺 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆.” To ask for forgiveness. To reach out, reconcile, and try again.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗲! I feel ready to take on the world, to act on my dreams, make things happen, and do better where I know I can.

I see 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 in this fresh beginning. I may not have got everything right last week, but this week gives me a fresh page and another chance to be more intentional about what I write on it.

Friends our story is still unfolding, and our God has blessed us with another day to live it. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱! 🤍

𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻. One call, one decision, one brave step can give this week a whole new direction.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳…𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘁.

There was a time when this dream felt so far away. I could see it clearly in my heart, even when I could not yet see the road that would take me there. But I started anyway. I learned, I grew, and I kept moving. Today, I lead Drones For Africa and the dream continues to grow beyond anything I first imagined.

This is bigger than flying drones. It is about creating African technology, transforming industries, opening doors for young people and proving that world-changing innovation can come from Botswana.

We are not asking for seats at tables that were never built with us in mind. We are building our own tables, taking our seats and creating space for others to rise with us.

The vision is alive. The work continues. Africa is ready and we are only getting started! 💃🏼💃🏼❤️

This morning, my babies gave me this drawing… and I don’t think they realize how much it touched my heart. ❤️

There are days when I travel a lot, work long hours, and carry the weight of building dreams, responsibilities, and a future for the people I love. Sometimes, in the middle of all that, I quietly ask myself if I’m doing enough as a mother.

But today, through the eyes of my children, I was reminded of something important…

To them, I am not the tired version of myself.
Not the stressed version.
Not the version questioning whether she’s getting it all right.

To them, I am simply “Best Mom.” 🏆❤️

And honestly… that healed something in me today.

Sometimes, the people we love most see the love we give more clearly than we see it ourselves. And for every parent out there trying, sacrificing, showing up, and doing their best even when life gets overwhelming… maybe we are doing better than we think. 🌷 So let’s keep going. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers and mother figures who keep showing up with love, even on the days they feel they’re falling short. ❤️

Life doesn’t wait for you to feel ready..
It doesn’t pause when you’re overwhelmed..

So learn to show up anyway.

Show up when you’re happy.
Show up when you’re tired.
Show up when you’re breaking inside, and no one can see it..

Because one day, you’ll look back and realize...It wasn’t the easy days that built you…It was the days you showed up when everything in you wanted to give up…but you kept going.🥰❤️

Today, let me share a bit of my personal life.

As we stepped into 2026, I made a quiet but intentional decision.

I asked my colleagues not to come to work today and to start tomorrow instead. Not because work isn’t important but because I wanted this year to begin with God.

Before opening the office for the first time this year, I felt led to dedicate the company to God.

To pray over the work, the people, the decisions, and the journey ahead.To acknowledge that without God, effort alone is never enough. This day was set aside for prayer and surrender. For placing everything we are building into God’s hands.

I share this not to impress, but to encourage.
If you are stepping into 2026 with plans, dreams, or uncertainty…start with God.

Not when things get hard.
Not as a last option.
But first.

May this year find us choosing faith over fear,
prayer over pressure, and God before everything else.
