BOTSWANA 60th “DIAMONDS & CHROME” VINTAGE CLASSICS CAR EXHIBITION SET FOR BOTSWANA NATIONAL MUSEUM FROM 25-30 SEPTEMBER
Vintage Classics Botswana, in partnership with the Botswana National Museum and Art Gallery, will host the seven-day “Diamonds & Chrome” Vintage Classics Car Exhibition from 25–30 September 2026 as part of Botswana’s 60th Independence celebrations.
The “Heritage on Wheels” showcase will feature 10 vintage vehicles from the 1930s to the 1980s, including cars used by former presidents Sir Seretse Khama, Sir Ketumile Masire and Dr Festus Mogae. Organisers expect more than 2,000 visitors, including students from across the country. The exhibition aims to promote heritage, tourism, STEM education and mechanics, while raising funds toward Botswana’s first Vintage Classics Car Museum, planned as a permanent tourism and education facility in Gaborone.
