The Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA) has just announced an upward adjustment in fuel prices, effective midnight on Thursday, 22 October 2026.

Petrol will increase by P1.54 per litre to P19.75, while diesel rises by P2.83 to P23.76 per litre. Paraffin prices remain unchanged at P18.33 per litre.

BERA attributes the increase to volatility in international oil markets, rising refined petroleum prices and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
