The definition of retirement in today’s society is changing constantly. The traditional image for retirement is not necessarily supported by everyone due to economics, family needs, health and personal objectives.
Many of us dream about retirement- no longer a slave to the daily grind, having time to travel as we’ve wanted, spending days at masimo/farms/cattle post, being able to volunteer regularly with our favourite charity, spending time with friends and loved ones. But dreaming about retirement and planning for it are two different pursuits. Dreams float around in our heads while the actual planning takes pencil, paper and a calculator.
This retirement guidebook will help retirees and future retirees better plan their retirement comprehensively as well as giving them a better sense of appreciation on what retirement really entails. There are three focus areas that the guidebook will take through the readers in aid of providing a holistic approach to their planning and these are: Family, Leisure Time, Financial Planning as well as the 9 Keys to a Happy Retirement as noted by Forbes. At the end of each chapter, readers should have answered key questions pertinent to their retirement coupled with better understanding as well as better planning.
