We are looking for a skilled and experienced Wide Format Printer Operator to join our team and help bring our clients' visions to life.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Wide Format Printer Operator with a strong background in operating HP Latex or similar wide format printers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of RIP software, such as SAi or Onyx, and will be skilled in vinyl cutting. You will work with various signage materials and be responsible for color management, material cost saving, nesting and job optimisation for installation crews. This is to ensure high-quality production output in the factory of all printed product.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate wide format printers (HP Latex or similar) to produce high-quality prints
Utilize RIP software (SAi or Onyx) for job setup and color management
Operate vinyl cutters.
Handle signage materials with expertise, ensuring the appropriate selection for each job
Use Flexi Sign software for design and prepress workflow
Work within Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Corel Draw to prepare and finalize designs
Ensure color consistency and accuracy across different materials and print jobs
Maintain printers and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and client specifications

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating wide format printers in a similar environment
Proficiency in operating HP Latex or similar wide format printers
Strong knowledge of RIP software (SAi or Onyx) and color management principles
Experience operating vinyl cutters and handling signage materials
Proficiency with Flexi Sign software, Adobe Suite, and Corel Draw
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot printing issues
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Over the past number of months the FG leadership team has embarked on journey to promote accountability and overall company wide alignment.
Part of this was to discover a set of values that we could call our own.
Values that we don't aspire to, but rather values that we already had, but just didn't know that we had them.

The leadership team looked into the company and took these values not from us but from our employees. We conducted a half day workshop and really took the time to look to our best people and then the qualities that we admire in them. Eventually after some long healthy debate we found what we were looking for!!
