Training is not the end of the skills journey. The real test is what comes next.

Can learners turn their skills into opportunities? Can they find jobs, start businesses, adapt as industries change and continue learning throughout their careers?

UNESCO-UNEVOC’s interactive session at looks at how we can strengthen skills-to-industry pathways and prepare learners for a rapidly changing world of work.

Drawing on experiences from African TVET institutions and systems, we will examine connections between training and work, including apprenticeships, employer engagement, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, AI and digital transformation, and green and inclusive transitions.
