GROWTH

What best level of production have you reached?

QUALITY
Most of the time when you start anything, there's usually a problem with quality. remember first time Masisivclosed boarders, what we sent to grocery stores was disaster,Di hele ke Di pest, tse dingwe Di swabile tse dingwe ne re ipotsa gore what was going on.But right now check quality... AMAZING STUFF!

NUMBERS
Just like with quality, when we start we must chew enough to be able swallow.Never start with large numbers when you are learning unless you are not worried about losses and stuff. It is imperative to plant enough to learn from whilst managing waste and growth as you develop your confidence with the process, controls and management.

See yourself growing not just in number and quality of your produce, invest in knowledge acquisition and sharpen yourself from time to time.

CHRONICLES OF FARMING

Yaare hela o iketlile call ebe e tsena from the farm...these days itlhele my antenna e ema ka dinao tota because I never know what to expect.

Maloba haaaaaale ne ke nna ke emetse good news hela...koko Di thubile...dinku Di tsetse....dintja Di tsetse....mongwe a re o batla mmidi o le 200 e.t.c

These days...stuff has gotten old and it's not always good news... rightfully so because dilo ntse dia tsohala... in fact Di tsohetse!!!

But what do you do when it's late in the day and you are home resting and you are told the borehole is not pumping!!!!!?

Ka nako e you have 10k heads of cabbages waiting to get water....4k tomato plants waiting....22000 onions and 15000 beetroots le leruo tota kaha...ska lebala babereki le dikokwana.

These are opportunities to test your agility and for you to also check how well you plan and ensure a smooth operation of the farm no matter challenges.

Some challenges and daunting but at the least there's got to be some confidence to take down some challenges as they occur

AGRICULTURE IS LIFE

As a country,we were established and rooted as a country that depends and promoted food sufficiency. Whatever happened that made us comfortable destroyed us!

These days, you must have land, water and be able to produce something!

Food is expensive...water is expensive and sourcing these two is damn expensive too!

If you want to see how horrible your food situation is... look at how much food you have now and if you are told to not go to a grocery store,HOW LONG WOULD YOU SURVIVE?

IT'S INCREASINGLY GETTING TOUGH OUT THERE...HOW ARE YOU PLANNING TO MAKE IT ANY EASIER???

SAFER FOOD

One of the dangerous things in a human beings existence is something called HUNGER and hunger seen as a weakness for one has been used by another as a weapon.

A hungry person becomes desperate and desperate people are usually not careful

Food production these days is increasingly becoming dangerous and a hazard to human survival

Most seeds are Genetically Modified resulting genetically Modified Foods
Most agro chemicals produced and sold in retail stores are carcinogenic...meaning they can result in one using them at the farm and the one eating food sprayed with those chemicals getting cancer!

Most agro chemicals are sensitisers meaning when using them or eating food containing them you can easily have skin related diseases!

When a farmer produces food, it takes a knowledgeable individual to know they have responsibility not only to make profit but to protect people, the environment and the future!!!

Are you just an eater and just a farmer or you are taking your role seriously knowing you can make a difference when you choose to do right and not only because you want to eat or you want profit???

EVERY FARMER MUST KNOW,USE OF AGROCHEMICALS MUST BE THE LAST RESORT AND THIS WAY EVERY FARMER WILL USE AGROCHEMICALS IN THE MOST MINIMAL VOLUMES RESULTING IN INCREASED SAFETY OF THE ECOSYSTEM!
