VACANCY: RADIO TECHNICIAN
vacancy of a RADIO TECHNICIAN is open at Ngami Radio Communications. we are looking for someone with sound knowledge on Radio Equipment and electronics to join our team in Maun.
The prospective should have the following;
-knowledge on electronics
-skills in maintaining radio communication equipment involving Performing testing or repairing activities on radio transmitting and receiving equipment, such as testing control circuits and Check and repair electronic equipment. Detect malfunction, locate faults and take measures to prevent damage.
- ability to Use repair manuals thereby Applying the information, such as periodic maintenance charts, step by step repair instructions, troubleshooting information and overhaul procedures to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
-ability to Interpret technical information for electronic repair work
- Ability to Operate electronic measuring instruments and radio testing equipment accurately and precisely
-Should be able to Install electronic communication equipment and radio communication equipment
-Must be able to Solder electronics, i.e, Operate and use soldering tools and soldering iron, which supply high temperatures to melt the solder and to join electronic components.
