NEW LICENCE FEES FOR PRIVATE SECURITY SERVICES

Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security wishes to inform members of the public and its stakeholders that the full implementation of the Private Security Services Act, 2015 (No. 11 of 2015), effected as at 1st November 2020.

The Private Security Services Act has six (6) categories of private security service, namely;
Security Guard Services
Close Protection Services
Specialist Security Services
Electronic Security Services
Private Investigator Services
Security Advisory Services

Members of the public are further informed that the service fees specified in the following schedule has been prescribed as the amounts payable effective 1st November 2020.

SERVICE FEES

1.Application fee for each license - Pl000.00

2. Annual renewal fee - P500.00

3. Transfer of licence - P1000,00

4. Application for Security Guard certificate -
P200.00

5. Amendment of licence - P500.00
