We’re Hiring: Finance & Payroll Specialist
Location: Belize City, Belize | On-site, 5 days per week
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Process accurate and timely payroll, including overtime, allowances, deductions, new hires, and final pay.
• Manage SSB FIN15, PAYE, TIN registrations, tax filings, and other statutory requirements.
• Support accounts payable, vendor invoice validation, and payment-related activities.
• Prepare reconciliations, month-end schedules, payroll journals, and financial reports.
• Monitor site budgets, spending, commitments, and available allocations.
• Prepare monthly headcount, payroll cost, variance, and cost-analysis reports.
• Maintain accurate financial, payroll, asset, and compliance records.
• Coordinate with government agencies, banks, auditors, and external accounting providers.
• Support the transition of payroll and statutory services from an external provider to an in-house process.
🔹 Requirements
✅Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✅3–6 years of hands-on finance experience, including payroll processing and statutory compliance.
✅Strong working knowledge of Belize payroll, SSB, PAYE, TIN requirements, and labor-law entitlements.
✅Experience with accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end close, and management reporting.
✅Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, and financial reconciliations.
✅Experience using an ERP/accounting system and payroll system.
✅Excellent written and spoken English (Bilingual a Plus).
✅Strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality, integrity, and ability to work independently.
✅Legally authorized to work in Belize.
Preferred: ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification; experience in a BPO/contact-center environment or as the sole finance professional at a site is an advantage.
