I bring to you a new change; a new vision, one which will not march in step with the status quo, we will continue to zig while others zag. The storm we are facing continues to hurl at us with non-stop disruption, but we choose to keep our focus, unbothered by the noise that surrounds. Her dedication spans over 30 years, where she's been committed to educating and transforming young minds.
Nelma Mortis-Jones is deeply concerned about the inequalities and conflicts in Belize and aims to address them through research and consultation that is people-centered. She's been at the forefront of groundbreaking studies on social violence and public security. She advocates for holistic and community-centered approaches to safety, including data-driven policing, innovative criminal justice methods, alternatives to incarceration, and prevention strategies.
