The Belize Bus Terminal and Market Square Taxi Cooperative met at The BIM Conference Center located on Chancellor St, next to the Belize Healthcare Partners Hospital, for a general meeting to review and discuss various topics including financial matters, development issues, and new ideas for the growth of the cooperative and its members. They also discussed the new rules and regulations and bylaws for their premises at the San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi and the bus terminal and market square. Approximately 37 members attended
affecting the cooperative and to plan a way forward. The parking lot was filled with 35 plus taxis.

2025 starts out as a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous) year, with a new President in the US creating extreme turbulence in the global arena, while in our own micro space of Belize with a population of 400K+, the size of El Salvador and twice the size of Jamaica, we have our micro turbulence as we head to the polls on March 12, just two weeks away.
Regardless of the results which to a large degree is already forecasted to be in favor of the incumbent, we must expect change. Every milestone we reach in any given time and space will by its nature generate its own level of turbulence.
The purpose of this post is to address the strategic context of the times we are in, and prepare mentally for the turbulence. While the VUCA level, post elections may not be in the category of a hurricane, leaders responsible for strategy formulating in their organizations, are required to connect the dots, align their stars in order to put their ducks in a row.
