Look behind me, dog grooming company in my city that I didn't even know existed!

Great job on their cute and catchy advertising. It got my attention, and now I'm calling them to book a grooming appointment for my dog.

My point is this: if you're in business, or thinking about starting one, marketing is everything. Without it, people won't know who you are or what you offer.

The challenge with traditional businesses is that success requires more than just marketing. There are investments, storefronts, products, supplies, employees, and countless other responsibilities.

What attracted me to the business I started five years ago was that it didn't require many of the things that come with a traditional business.

It gave me a flexible way to work around my family's schedule while building something of my own.

Me and my mini-me date while waiting for Ate’s class 💕

Pro-D Day (Professional Development Day) means no school for kids here in BC… and for me, it means extra time together, whether it’s errands, hanging out, or just moments like this 🤍

This is my life now, and I’m so grateful for these simple but meaningful moments with my daughters.

But it wasn’t always like this.

When we first came to Canada, I was working a 9–5 job. My daughter had to stay in daycare for 9–10 hours a day.

When she started school, Pro-D Days became stressful, I had to take time off work or find someone to watch her every single time.

And honestly… that wasn’t the life I wanted for my kids.

The constant struggle of asking permission, adjusting schedules, or relying on others made me realize something had to change.

So I made a decision: 👉
I chose to prioritize my kids, not just work.

I started looking for a home-based opportunity that would allow me to still earn while being present.

No experience.

No business background.

No confidence on social media.

But I took a chance, and I’m so glad I did.

Fast forward 5 years… I’m still here, and I’ve never looked back.

Now, I help other moms who are going through the same struggles I once had, those who want to earn income and be present for the people who matter most 💖

Sunday blessings 🤍

Sitting here at church, waiting for the service to begin, I’m reminded that no matter how heavy life can feel sometimes, there is always something good to hold on to.

We all carry worries, about family, finances, the future, but even in the middle of it all, blessings are still around us.

Sometimes they’re quiet and simple… like peace of mind, good health, a moment to pause, or the chance to start again.

Today, I choose to focus on what is still good.

My blessings today: peace of mind and good health.

Praying that wherever you are, you find comfort, strength, and something beautiful to be grateful for.
