Today’s adventure! 🚣‍♀️💦

We rafted 26 km down the Illecillewaet River in Revelstoke, BC, a beautiful glacier-fed river coming from Glacier National Park. 🏔️

OF COURSE! every vacation comes with lots of yummy meals, probably more than we can count!

I guess the diet program is on vacation too until we’re back home. 😄

But honestly, the best part of nights like these isn’t just what’s on the table, it’s having the time to sit, laugh, linger, and make memories together.

Building a flexible business has given us more room for the moments that don’t fit into a calendar: unhurried dinners, spontaneous trips, and being fully present with the people we’re working so hard for.

To the parents out there: maybe success isn’t only about working harder, it’s about creating a life you don’t constantly need a break from. ❤️

WE ONLY GET 18 SUMMERS WITH OUR KIDS🏖️

I heard this before, but lately, I’ve been thinking about it more.

And I only have 5 summers left with my eldest before she turns 18. 😭

Although… she can live with us forever if she wants. I really wouldn’t mind. 😂

It makes me appreciate days like this so much more.

The swimming, little vacations, hanging around doing nothing special, and just being there.

Sometimes we’re so busy working and preparing for our children’s future that we forget how quickly their childhood is passing right in front of us.

Of course we need to work and provide.

But I also want to keep building a life where I have more time to actually be with them.

Because 18 summers sounds like a lot… until you realize how many have already passed.

So while they still want to hang out with us, travel with us, and have us around… I’m going to enjoy every bit of it. ❤️

And who knows… maybe my 5 summers will turn into 25 if she never moves out. 😂😄

WHAT WOULD YOU DO? 🤔

Imagine someone handed you a business where you don’t have to figure everything out from scratch.

The system is already there.

The training is already there.

The tools are already there.

You have mentors and a community to guide you.

And you’re partnered with an established billion-dollar company.

You don’t need to be a business expert.

You don’t need to know everything about marketing.

You don’t even need to have a huge following.

You learn as you go.

The main tool? Social media. Something most of us are already using every single day anyway.

That’s what caught my attention about this online business. It was built for ordinary people who are willing to learn, follow a system, and actually put in the work.

Of course, having a system doesn’t mean success magically happens. You still have to show up, learn, be consistent and build your business.

But there’s a BIG difference between trying to figure everything out by yourself… and starting with the tools, training, mentorship and system already in place.

Funny how life brings you back to where you started… just in a completely different way. ❤️🚢

I took this photo with Franco Panganiban last March, and I was really happy I got the chance to meet him and chat with him for a bit.

One thing I found out about Franco is that he also started his working life on a cruise ship. And of course, that immediately caught my attention because that's where I came from too. 😊

I spent so many years working onboard, and back then I honestly never imagined that one day I would be doing what I'm doing now.

That's why I love hearing stories like Franco's. He came from a pretty normal working background, worked hard, took a different path and eventually became very successful in business.

Sometimes we see successful people and think, "Well, that's them." But when you actually hear where they started, you realize they were once regular people just trying to figure things out too.

I think that's what made our little conversation special for me.

Two former cruise ship workers, years later, meeting because life somehow brought us into the same business world. 😂 Who would've thought?

It reminded me again that where you start doesn't have to be where you stay.

You really never know where one decision can take you. ❤️

🇵🇭 And to my fellow Filipinos working on cruise ships and yachts...

I know how hard you work. I know what it's like to be away for months at a time and to keep saying, "Konting tiis pa, para sa pamilya."

But have you ever asked yourself… hanggang kailan?

Not because there's anything wrong with working onboard, I will always be grateful for that chapter of my life. But maybe while you're working hard for today's income, you can also start building something that could eventually give you more choices for tomorrow.

Sunday ❤️

We have goals. We work hard. We’re building something for our future. But at the end of the day, a lot of what we do is really for our family.

We want to give our kids a good life, of course… but more than that, we want to actually be there to enjoy life with them.

The simple days, the random drives, eating together, laughing about silly things, or sometimes just doing absolutely nothing 😂 Those are the things we know we’ll miss one day.

We’re still working on our dreams and figuring things out as we go. But we’re also learning not to be so busy building a future that we forget to enjoy what we already have today.

The man standing beside me didn’t build his life by simply waiting for better circumstances.

Romi Verdera’s journey is one of faith, persistence, family and a desire for something bigger.
