Here's what I see happen every long weekend: creators either ghost completely or they're posting generic content they threw together at the last minute.
Both feel unsustainable.
The thing is, you don't need to disappear or burn yourself out right before time off. You just need to build your content plan around your actual reality, not around some ideal version of "consistency."
That ideal version?
It usually looks like daily posts, constant engagement, always being on. But that's not consistency. That's performance. And it falls apart the second life happens; a long weekend, a client project, literally anything that pulls your attention.
Real consistency is knowing which platforms actually need fresh, authentic content from you and which ones can run on evergreen material. It's having a system where you're not scrambling to fill the feed with something forgettable just to stay visible.
Your audience didn't follow you for generic.
They followed you for you. So don't post just to post.
Your audience will still be there. Your business will still function. And you get to actually take the weekend.
