Here at Birth Like a Boss the emphasis is on knowledge and empowerment. I believe that the path to parenthood is part of a bigger journey, to self awareness and inner strength. In that belief I'd like to announce that I will be furthering my education to focus more on young parents, and will hopefully be working with some other amazing organizations to reach out to the next generation of parents. Building strong communities starts with building strong individuals. If you know a young parent-to-be that would benefit from an encouraging and uplifting prenatal class, please let them know that Birth Like a Boss is excited to work with them! Inclusive to all gender identities, sexual orientation and income levels.

Perspective. Its a good thing to have.
Breastfed babies are a whole different ball game. Making the decision to breastfeed requires a mindset that is different than formula feeding. But it can be really hard to maintain that when we are programmed to have a "full nights sleep" in order to feel human. So here is a list of things that you might not have known about why our little boobie babies are such a PITA at night. :)

Just renewed my membership to CAPPA Canada, and had to restrain myself from ordering ALL of the things! Posters and books and shirts and birthie stuff! haha

More cold weather is on the way. Brrr it's been a long cold winter. Do you know the proper way to secure your bundle into their carseat? Carseat installation and use tutorials are included in all prenatal classes, as well as available to anyway. I'm a certified car seat technician and would love to make sure your babies are safe on the roads!

One of the unexpected blessings of having a special needs kid myself is the added knowledge of resources and programming available to my clients. Its a joy to be able to help people make those connections early on in their parenting journey. Birth to age 5 is such an important part of a persons development. :)
