Looking for an experienced CPA to refer clients to. I am an experienced bookkeeper with an accountant mindset and am looking for a CPA to be able to refer clients to and work with on a regular basis. My clients require someone to manage their accounts on a large scale while I manage the details and ensure the books are organized properly.

PSA For anyone who uses Wix for website development.

I’ve been receiving emails the last week stating there are errors on my website and that I will face consequences if I don’t take immediate action.

These are scam/phishing emails and not actually coming from Wix. I have received numerous messages through my website from people wanting to ‘improve’ my website, it’s all a scam and I’ve never responded, however these emails make it appear more urgent and I worry there may be some who fall for this particular scam.

1st, always do a google search to find details on any link provided, in this instance it’s Fiverr.com, which is NOT a service affiliated with Wix.

2nd, always check the email address it came from (not the display name). The display names can be altered, the email addresses cannot, in this case it’s a gmail and Wix would never use a gmail address.

Be cautious, be vigilant and take anything sent to you online with a grain of salt but most of all, do your research before panicking and making decision you’ll regret.

TOYS! TOYS! TOYS!

It's that time of year again and I figured instead of helping plan a holiday toy drive this year I try to use this platform to share establishments that are collecting various donations in the East York area.

So, from now until the weekend before Christmas feel free to comment on this post with any East York business (not individual unfortunately as that opens a different set of problems) that is hosting a holiday Toy/Food/Clothing Drive this year.

Please ensure to list the charity that is being sponsored, the establishment, along with any stipulations, e.g. Free item with donation, toy/clothing/food donations, etc.

We can not only support local businesses this year but also help them support local charities ☺️

You will have full control over your refund and I will ensure you get updates directly. I know this time of year can be rough and initmidating for a lot but don't let it deter you, there are important benefits reliant on you filing your return on time. Don't miss out and don't procrastinate!

Also offering free consulting services for low income individuals/families. My services are generally meant for low income families who may need a little assistance or people who would like to learn more but are a bit hesistant to learn the process.
