Job Description

As the Licensed Electrician you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance repair of generator-related electrical circuits, controls, and devices. In addition, provide technical support in power generation projects and industries.

Job Duties:

- Ability to install residential and industrial generators
- Ability to hook up and disconnect generator rentals
- Ability to apply for and receive ESA permits
- Ability to assist in generator maintenance and technical support
- Ability to perform transfer switch maintenance

Requirements:

- Minimum 1-year electrical experience, preferably in emergency power generation
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Speak/Read/Write English
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be organized and reliable
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
- Working conditions inside/outside
- Required criminal check

As the Generator Technician you will be responsible for the complete servicing and maintenance of various generator and engine models.

JOB DUTIES
Perform routine maintenance inspections on all types of generators and engines
Perform maintenance; including changing oil, filters etc.
Troubleshoot/assess malfunctioning generators and repair as necessary

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year experience as a generator service technician OR 1 year mechanical experience working with engines
Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s Licence with a clean Driver’s Abstract
Speak/Read/Write English
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be organized and reliable
Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
Standing for long periods of time
Working conditions inside/outside
Repetitive motion
