I went dress shopping for the second time today to try on the two dresses I had narrowed it down to. Honestly, I thought coming back would make the decision easier, but it actually made it harder.

As I was standing there looking at both dresses, I realized it felt a lot like building a business. When you’re making a big decision, whether it’s choosing a dress, starting a company, or making an investment, you’re committing your time, energy, money, and effort to something. Those aren’t decisions you make lightly.

As much as I wanted to say yes to one of the dresses, I just wasn’t quite ready. I wanted to make sure it felt right, because once you make that choice, you’re all in.

It reminded me so much of the decisions we’ve made with our business. Every partnership, product, and opportunity requires careful thought and commitment. The exciting part is that big decisions usually mean you’re moving toward something important.
