The next Sunset Sipper is on August 22 (6 to 10pm) - one bottle of Stonehouse Vineyard wine along with two individual fresh, gourmet, hand-made pizzas - prepared on site by and live music.

The pizza choices:

🍕My Huney: tomato base - basil- pepperoni cup - red onion-hot honey drizzle; or

🍕Fun Guy: Garlic and herb base- mozzarella- local mushrooms- canalized onion- parmigiana-chives

Veraison is well underway in the vineyard. Red grapes turn from green to deep purple while white grapes will turn golden. As the grapes mature, they will increase sugar and decrease in acidity. When we have a nice balance, thats when we harvest. For now we wait.

We want to extend our thanks to North Glengarry as being the first licensee to sell Stonehouse Vineyard wines!!! It took four years, but we can now finally sell to licensees without incurring punishing charges from LCBO! North Glengarry council has been an important element in getting this change. Hopefully other licensees in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry will begin featuring 💯 local award-winning cold climate wines. 🥂
