What do I need to bring to a class?

About the only you need to bring is an apron to protect your clothes.

As you can see here, I supply your board, primed and design drawn, some tips and tricks, tape, ruler, knife, brushes, paints and sealer, even a chargeable fan to help dry the paint. I even provide a home cooked lunch to enjoy!

Sometimes people love the colours in the sample and then other times, people want to change the colours. I'm sure there are some unknowns: How will it look? What if I don't like it? These are common questions, and let me assure you, I make it simple to get it just the way you want it. Patterns look so different when you move the colours around. Here is a great example..same pattern, same colours, chosen by the client, but sent to them so they have a visual of what the finished barn quilt will look like. Plus, I love coming up with different ideas of how to move those colours around!!!

Ever wanted to paint your own barn quilt? I have a class on Sept. 19

This was my first class teaching barn quilt painting. Hosted in my back yard, and thankfully, the weather was beautiful. I didn't know how it would go, but the finished products say it all. Not much has changed, except we prefer to paint in a climate controlled space now. I am truly thankful for these ladies who took a chance on me and allowed me to impart my passion and skills to them and empower them to be able to create a masterpiece.

Barn Quilt Painting Classes are SO MUCH FUN!!!
Sue here, a regular at my classes, is such a fun person to have around. We all had a good laugh at her frog tape "Christmas Tree" she built as she peeled her tape. So if you are worried the day will be long and boring, that couldn't be further from the truth!
