Baffinland and the Qikiqtani Inuit Assoc. (QIA) will be hosting the Annual Project Review Forum (The Forum) in Arctic Bay from September 22-24, 2026.

We are currently seeking youth and Elder delegates from Arctic Bay, Clyde River, Igloolik, Pond Inlet, and Sanirajak to participate in this year’s Forum. Youth delegates must be between 18 – 30 years of age, and Elders must be 55 years of age and older.

The Forum provides an opportunity for community members to receive updates on the Mary River Mine, discuss matters related to the Project and surrounding communities, and share feedback on Baffinland’s operations, including mitigation and monitoring programs. Participants can also make recommendations for overall Project improvements.

If you are interested in participating, please contact your Baffinland Community Liaison Officer or your local QIA Community Liaison Officer before July 22, 2026.

The Forum is one of the negotiated benefits of the Inuit Impact Benefit Agreement (IIBA) and brings together community representatives, QIA, and Baffinland to share information, discuss priorities, and strengthen ongoing dialogue.
