***Just a reminder***

Another Edition of Marc’s Monday Minute is coming this Monday🤔🤔👏👏👏

See you then

08/24/2026

Welcome to Marc‘s Monday minute😊🤔

Do you ask why? Or what?
Is there a difference? Let me tell you.

When starting a question with “Why?” can make people feel defensive.

Asking “What?” instead invites a positive and productive conversation

👉 Don’t ask “Why did you do that?” as that can sound like blame.

👉 Instead

👉 Asking “What happened?” opens the door to a continuous conversation.

This week , try replacing “Why?” with a “What?” and see how your conversation goes.

Hear me out to see what I have to say and/or then head to my website to learn how to keep the conversation going and relationship intact🤔

See you next Monday.

Have you ever been put on the defensive by these simple words: “Why did you…?”

Why did you say that?
Why did you do that?
Why didn’t you call?
Why did you make that decision?

Suddenly, the conversation feels less like a conversation—and more like an interrogation.

Your first reaction might be to become defensive, frustrated, or even shut down.

But here’s the question:

Could you have responded differently if you had taken a moment to think before answering?

Sometimes, the difference between a defensive response and a productive conversation is simply the pause.

Take a breath.
Listen to the question.
Think about what’s really being asked.
Then respond—not react.

💬 Have you ever been asked a “Why did you?” question that put you on the defensive? How did you respond, and how did it make you feel?

Reach out to me and “Let’s Talk” about it so I can help you get through that situation positively, professionally and most importantly keep that positive relationship intact.

Have you ever thought that you might be missing the mark in your approach?? 🤔🤔

If your conversations are missing the basics… you’re losing results. Period.

High performers don’t just talk more — they communicate smarter.

They lock in the fundamentals:
🔥 The WHY — builds buy-in
🔥 The WHERE — sets the stage
🔥 The WHAT — removes confusion
🔥 The HOW — drives ex*****on
🔥 The WHEN — creates urgency

Miss one… and things fall apart fast.

Miscommunication costs time.
It costs trust.
It costs business.

But when you dial in your conversational skills?
Everything changes — clarity, confidence, outcomes.

Because it’s not about saying more…
it’s about saying it so people actually GET IT.

We never “think” our business has a communication problem…

until one conversation goes wrong.

At Let’s Talk Communication, we focus on the moments that matter most🤔

the tough conversations, the pressure situations, the split-second responses.

Because that’s where businesses either win… or lose.

❌ A frustrated customer handled poorly = lost revenue
❌ A misread tone = damaged trust
❌ A tough employee conversation avoided = bigger problems later

But when your team is trained?

✔️ They stay calm under pressure
✔️ They respond with confidence
✔️ They turn tension into trust
✔️ They protect your brand in real time

This isn’t soft skills training.

This is business performance training.

Because every conversation is either building your business…
or quietly breaking it.

Message me and Let’s Talk to see how I can help keep those conversations count!!

Have you ever thought why you would need an On-Call Conversation /Communication coach 🤔🤔🤔

🔥 Most businesses don’t have a communication problem…

They have a timing problem.

The hardest conversations don’t happen when you’re prepared.

They happen in the moment:

• A frustrated client calls
• An employee pushes back
• A situation escalates fast

And just like that—your response matters.

This is where an on-call conversational communication coach changes everything.

Instead of reacting, you get to respond with clarity, confidence, and control.

Here’s what that actually does for your business:

✅ Stops small issues from turning into big problems
✅ Gives leadership real-time support in high-pressure moments
✅ Creates consistency across your team’s communication
✅ Strengthens client relationships and trust
✅ Protects your brand reputation

Because one conversation can either:

❌ Cost you a client
❌ Create internal conflict
❌ Damage your credibility

OR…

✔ Build trust
✔ Strengthen relationships
✔ Move your business forward

The difference?

👉 Having the right support in the moment—not after the fact.

💬 That’s what an on-call communication coach provides.

Not theory.
Not generic training.

Real-time guidance when it matters most.

If your business depends on conversations (and it does)…

Then how you handle them isn’t optional.

It’s everything.👏👏
