What’s my why?

I do it for the little girl who dreamed big without questioning it. ✨

Who did things because she loved them. No other reason needed. 💕

Who was spunky, had tantrums, and always said exactly how she felt. 😡

Who hadn’t yet talked herself out of anything.

Who still trusted people. Who hadn’t yet learned not to.

Who was still surrounded by the women who made her feel safe.

My why? I do it for the little girl who knew... she could do anything.

Site visit- so important when planning an event or experience.

Yesterday I did one of many site visits at Autora Town Square.

Met with my amazing summer assistant seher.bagga , Nicole from Tailored Tables and facilities to try to clear up all the swirling ideas and layouts in my brain 🧠.

We talked about:

Table layouts
Room dimensions
Entrances and exits
Crowd flow
Floor decals
Registration location
Piano location
Table sizes
Lighting
Floor plans
Meal timing
Stage size
Photo opportunities
Stage design
Room capacity
Cutlery and glassware
Flowers
Linens
Power outlets

… see why my brain was full!

Ahhhh I feel lighter now that I have had a chance to go over everything. 😮‍💨

There’s a lot that goes into creating an event and experience that is enjoyable and truly memorable.

There are so many details and aspects that go into making it flow and transition well.

I get it.

Marketing is a giant word.

It turns out that … YES IT CAN.
I took an adventure down to the flagship store in Toronto (decided I didn’t have enough energy for the 19 purchase/return transactions that were bound to happen if I tried to order a bathing suit online).

The store is small and quaint and the staff are absolutely rays of ☀️ sunshine. So patient, so friendly, supportive and knowledgeable.

The change room area on my given visit was straight out of an all female cheerleading squad. We were all encouraging, sharing preferences and cheering each other on. One woman told me my butt looked amazing lol 😝 ☺️ 🙈. Thank you I think.

I was skeptical but all the suits fit very well. The colours incredible and the material so soft but also compressive in a good way.

I felt good and positive in almost every suit.

I asked if they had special mirrors because normally (and I don’t think I’m alone on this one) I leave a bathing suit store feeling depressed, bad about my self and body, like I never want to put a bathing suit on ever again) …. But not this time baby.

I felt good. I felt confident. I bought a swim suit!

Ask me anything … I tried on almost all the styles and fits…. And no this is NOT a paid partnership!
