We've been a proud vendor for Chapman's Ice Cream since 1998, supplying them with their fleet graphics and facility signage for nearly 30 years.
Over the decades we've seen many examples of their desire to take care of their employees and the people in their community of Markdale, Ontario. This statement shows their commitment to their Canadian suppliers and all Canadian consumers.

Since the first round of unjustified tariffs from the Trump administration, Chapman’s has been working to re-source our components to Canadian companies, or non-U.S. companies, without increasing the costs for our consumers. We are on track to convert over 70% of our American ingredients by mid-2027.
Not only have we managed to keep our component costs the same, but we have also partnered with other Canadian companies to reshore production of some items that have never been produced in Canada before!
We stand with the Canadian government, and all provinces, in our outright rejection of these unjustified tariffs. Walking away from a ‘deal’ that would sacrifice our economic sovereignty and harm the unique cultural identity of Quebec was the only option.
As the trade war escalates, we are making the commitment to our customers that we will not have a price increase from now until March 2028. We will continue to support our employees with a living wage and provide our customers with the best product for the best price, using only 100% Canadian dairy.

Depuis la première vague de tarifs douaniers injustifiés imposés par l'administration de Trump, Chapman's s'est efforcé de trouver de nouvelles sources d'approvisionnement de la marchandise vers des entreprises canadiennes, ou des entreprises hors des États-Unis, sans augmenter le coût pour nos consommateurs. Nous sommes en voie de remplacer plus de 70% de nos ingrédients américains d'ici la mi-2027.
Non seulement nous avons réussi à maintenir nos coûts de composants inchangés, mais nous avons établi un partenariat avec d'autres entreprises canadiennes afin de rapatrier la production de certains articles qui n'avaient encore jamais été fabriqués au Canada!
Nous soutenons le gouvernement canadien, ainsi que toutes les provinces, dans notre rejet catégorique de ces tarifs douaniers injustifiés. Rejeter un « accord » qui aurait sacrifié notre souveraineté économique et porté atteinte à l'identité culturelle unique du Québec était la seule option possible.
De plus, alors que la guerre commerciale s'intensifie, nous nous engageons auprès de nos clients que nous n'aurons aucune augmentation de prix d'ici mars 2028. Nous continuerons de verser un salaire de subsistance à nos employés et d'offrir à nos clients le meilleur produit au meilleur prix, en utilisant exclusivement des produits laitiers 100% canadiens.
