Getting to be part of conversations around agricultural research, education, and policy at a national level was a reminder of how important it is that farmers and rural communities have a voice in the decisions shaping the future of our industry.

Grateful for the people I met, the perspectives I gained, and the opportunity to advocate for agriculture alongside leaders from across the country.

Proud to be part of a community working to strengthen the connection between farmers, consumers, and policymakers 🌾

From Montana sheep to made-in-USA wool; Duckworth’s story is one I’m so excited to share. 🐑🇺🇸

The Helle family welcomed me out to their generational ranch, and I got a firsthand look at how their sheep are raised and how much care goes into every step of the process. Families like the Helles are the backbone of American agriculture, and it was such an honor to spend time with them. Check out and their amazing products

Honored to visit the Embassy of Denmark in Washington, D.C. and be featured in their 50 States in 50 Weeks campaign! This visit was especially meaningful because my great-grandfather emigrated from Denmark and started our family farm in Montana back in 1912. Over 100 years later, I’m proud to continue that legacy. Thank you to everyone at the Embassy for the warm welcome and hospitality.

Wrapped up an impactful Week of Action in D.C. with Montana Farmers Union and National Farmers Union. I met with all four members of Montana’s congressional delegation to share why a strong farm bill matters for the future of family farms and the next generation like me.
