Beck Ltd - SENIOR BOOKKEEPER
Beck Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced, motivated and client driven individual to join our tax accounting team in the capacity of Senior Bookkeeper.

Success in this role will require prior experience in direct client engagements. You will become a key member of our multi-disciplined team whose role will be responsible for preparing and maintaining our client’s financial records. The successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable to multi-tasking requirements within the role, able to work within a confidential environment and able to work independently as well as part of a team. The position requires working in a supportive fast-paced environment.
As a Senior Bookkeeper you will:
• Process and review account payables and account receivables;
• Post and reconcile monthly bank and credit cards accounts;
• Assist with month end adjusting entries;
• Prepare monthly financial reports;
• Prepare Government filings (GST, QST, HST, T-slips) as required;
• Enter Payroll information as required (EHT, WSIB, Source Remittance, etc);
• Liaison with Canada Revenue Agency on behalf of clients;
• Keep Manager informed on status of files and issues as required; and,
• Complete additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• Strong experience using QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and Sage Accounting;
• Working knowledge of payroll
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
• Must be flexible in terms of hours of work, able to work well under pressure and have strong attention to details and able to prioritize multiple requirements and deadlines;
• Demonstrate focus, positive attitude, professionalism, strong communication skills and teamwork;
Education and Experience
• College diploma or certification with specialization in accounting/bookkeeping; and,
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
