Fall 2020 SIDEWALK SALE

Greetings from JD Buy & Sell

We are SUPER EXCITED to announce that we are holding a SIDEWALK SALE to end the summer and welcome the fall season.

We are in the Eagle Ridge Professional Complex - southern most building, lower level at the rear of the building. Look for our signage!!

Concerned about COVID-19?

***** We will be adhering to the rules set out in the 'Barrie COVID-19 Emergency Measures By-law' in order to protect the health and safety of everyone involved. This includes all customers and staff. *****

We will have scheduled cleaning of high traffic surfaces and we will have hand sanitizer readily available for all customers.
Our event is held outdoors, but we will still require all customers to have a mask or face covering. Children under the age of 2, or those under 5 who cannot be persuaded, are not required to wear a face covering, as well as individuals whose health or ability, or cultural or religious reasons would prevent them from doing so.

For those persons without masks/face coverings we will supply a disposable one free of charge.
Customers will be required to maintain a safe distance of 2 metres apart. Our sale will be set up in a way to encourage safe distancing Line-ups may occur based on the amount of foot traffic. We will have staff on hand to manage these line-ups if they occur.
The public's health & safety is the responsibility of everyone and it is our number #1 concern. After all, we are all in this together. Let's all be kind, courteous and patient with one another.

Greeting from JD Buy & Sell.

Over the last 2 months we made the hard decided to close our location and cease our online auctions during the midst of the COVID-10 pandemic. We have spent our time and energy with our families making sure they are healthy and safe. This has also been a time to reflect on what is most important to us. We hope that everyone has been safe & healthy.
We would like to give a huge shout out to all the frontline workers that have done an outstanding job providing us the services and products that we need to function as a society. We would also like to thank everyone that stayed home, practiced social distancing, donated to charities/causes and those that have made/produced personal protective equipment (PPE) for friends, family, strangers, and of course health care professionals.

EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Starting in June, we will have some huge announcements and promotions, as we set to relaunch all business related activities. Our auctions will be bigger and better, offering a huge variety of products at great prices. We are starting with Auction # 5 – Grand Re-Opening Auction. This online auction will take place at the end of June. We will give you further updates, information and the auction dates as soon as we can.

COVID-19 Measures.
As we all know the spread of the COVID-19 virus has slowed, and businesses are reopening while adhering to safety guidelines set out by the Government of Ontario. To limit physical contact our pickup location/showroom will be closed to customer entry. We are offering a “curbside pickup system” which is a contact free option for customers to pickup. Customers will book appointment pick up times on the allotted pickup days and will have a specific time window to complete their pickups. We are also offering local delivery to customers in and around the Barrie/Innisfil/Gilford/Bradford area for a low fee of $6.00 per delivery (subject to exact location/discretion of JD Buy & Sell). Free local delivery also available for orders over $100.00.
We are encouraging customers to only pay with credit card or our newly introduced e-transfer option as an alternative to paying with cash. To facilitate the curbside pickup and delivery services we offer, this has become necessary.

COVID-19 Update.

JD Buy & Sell along with most companies are addressing the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak situation in the world, and more specifically here in Canada. We hope that all customers and their families and friends are remaining safe and virus free.

Here at JD Buy & Sell we have less than five employees and only one that is currently working at our pickup location that interacts with customers. None of our employees have been out of the country in the last 120 days. We assure you that none of our employees show any symptoms of the virus and are limiting their contact with the general public out of their own choice and protection.

We would like to advise all our current and potential customers that our online auctions will go on as scheduled for now. We encourage customers to take advantage of the great deals we have to offer.

For this weeks auction, it will start to close on Thursday March 19 at 7pm. Our pickup days will still be Saturday March 21, 9am to 5pm and Sunday March 22, 10am to 4pm. Visit www.jdbuyandsell.hibid.com for all the details.

If you are a customer/successful bidder that decides not to pick up your order during the specified pickup times/dates, due to health concerns or personal choice over the Coronavirus situation, do not worry. JD Buy & Sell will be happy to hold onto your order until a later date.

1) We can ship your order to you via Canada Post (standard rates apply and not all items can be shipped)
2) JD Buy & Sell can deliver to local customers for a low rate of $10.00 per shipment (price is subject to exact location, not all locations are eligible for this service).
