It sure looks pretty doesn't it? Unfortunately, this kiln is running with extremely high 02, which is pulling the heat further back in the kiln. We were able to determine that the burner is not maximizing the primary air flow, which is just one of the issues. They're also getting high TRS, which ultimately comes down to good and proper atomization. Soon they'll have No Nox, No TRS and a 15% fuel reduction. Payment based on Performance Guarantee!!! Looks like there's going to be another chain replacement in our future. Honeycomb Castable Retainer is showing within a garland chain system design. This mill has seen higher than normal shell temperatures with exit gas in excess of 550F. Lastly, their dust loss has been calculated at 38%.
