Miss us? We miss you!! We are back baby!

Gil and I have taken over the Midland Auctions location. We are making some big changes here and some small ones too! Drop by and see us, check out the weekly auctions, bring in some stuff to sell (we take consignments every day we are at the shop). Coins, jewelry, bank notes, collectables, crystals and mineral specimens, general estate items, old signs and antiques… we sell it all. Pickup is on highway 93 in waverley (just 25 minutes outside barrie) at the lights.

I know we have some crystal collectors in Barrie so I am sharing this with everyone from DamGoodDeals. Midland Auctions is featuring a bunch of really nice crystals and mineral specimens over the next few weeks or so.... here is a peek at some of the ones in this weeks auction (and in next weeks auction as well in the collage).

Some have some great UV reactions under blacklights as well. All starting at just 5.00 opening bid. The location is only 25 minutes from where the Barrie pickup location was so its a quick drive to score some great stuff. (We are still regrouping and looking for some space with high speed internet for the live video auctions but until then I am helping out Caro at the midland location)

Gil has been picking all his adult life. He looks for stuff to collect (he has some pretty impressive collections) and he picks to make money to live off of as well as a side hussle. He has recorded hundreds of videos for years now and never posted any (As most of us know Gil and computers do not see eye to eye) but i am helping him out as he has shared some of these videos with me and i must say they have some great content. I convinced him to start posting them on tiktok and i showed him how to use imovie and i think i may have created a social media monstor in the making. He always wanted to share his picking “scores” and journey and documented so much of it but this is the very first post (and you know it eill get better as he goes) he says doing the live auction has made him much more confident in front of the camera and it really shows. I will continue to encourage him to share the vids and keep them coming. This is just a small edited bit of the video he shared with me (and i asked him if i could post it and he said yes) i ran it through a ai video system called munch that added the text… i like it but i am not sure everyone would but views will tell in the long run as he explores this path in his journey.
