Thank you to everyone who came out for the breakfast fundraiser today. We had a great time serving people and saying Hi. The spray park was a good time as well, but wish the smoke would have stayed away so the sun was shining instead.

Come see us Saturday morning for breakfast and support your local team. We will be in the parade and then set up for a pop up spray park at the school for 1pm...looks like a hot day some come cool off.
We will also have some of the fundraiser shirts which fireground is supplying for us.. there are FD supporter shirts/hoodies or crush cancer shirts/hoodies.

The fire department Pancake breakfast will be moving this year to the community center. This allows for better parking and facilities for those attending and cooking. We will have the trucks there for you to see and for us to respond if the need arises. Please come out 0800 start and will be last call at 1030 so we can also attend the parade. Please come out and support your local FD...

Good evening Bashaw. We had a discussion and plan on having a pop up splash park at the school after the parade 1pm on Saturday. Bring your water guns and take on your local firefighters.. we had a great time doing this last year.

With permission I am sharing these photos.

We had a request from Tiny Tots to tour the Bashaw FD and meet firefighters. So we built a presentation for kids on fire safety (including seeing the firefighters in all of the different gear we could be wearing) and included things for the parents on lithium ion batteries, smoke detectors and having a family plan. After the presentation we closed the road and set the trucks up for everyone to see, set up a wildland truck to spray some water and talk to some of the great team we have in Bashaw. Thank you for coming out and spending some time with us, it was a fun morning.
