I am a Custom Pen Maker, I hand make one of a kind fine writing instruments. I enjoy creating pens and other wood turnings on my lathe, I create my pens using the finest local and exotic woods, acrylics and I custom made my own acrylics adding dyes and pigments for a truely one of a kind piece. Each pen I create is made with love and is something I am proud to say I created. I have some pens in

stock but most of my work is based on your design and preferences so together we can create the perfect pen for your enjoyment.

Cut, drilled and glued a few pens for tomorrows work. I think I’ll be just a little busy in the shop tomorrow. Hopefully with a little luck I’ll have some new creations to post tomorrow.

This pen has been in the works for quite sometime. The pen is made from canes of Polymer clay then pressed onto the brass tube then baked. It is then sanded and after it is baby smooth 12 coats of CA are applied then wet sanded to 12000 grit and a final polish is applied. This has a lot of hours into this. This is my first polymer clay pen that has turned out and I’m happy with the quality. This was a bit of a challenge for me and I’m quite proud.

The clip features a Swarovski crystal on the clip and comes with a black or blue Parker style refill. This one is available for $140.00

This is one of my favourite woods to work with. Amboyna burl is pretty rare and is not easy to obtain. This wood has a sweet smell when turning and has a beautiful CAFinish with 12 coats of CA and then is polished smooth. This one is $70 it comes in either blue or black ink

Spalted Sycamore. This beautiful pen was finished with 12 coats of CA glue finish and polished so it’s as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Splayed Sycamore isn’t easy for me to find so I doubt I’ll be doing anymore of these anytime soon

Up next black acrylic, Bethlehem Olive Wood, splayed Sycamore and Amboyna Burl. These are all turned and sanded and have 12 coats of CA finish. Tomorrow I’ll sand and polish these and assemble them. These have been in the works since Sunday afternoon.
