Still true. Choose your fight, but don't stop.
I've been following and watching what is happening in the States with Kavanaugh and Ford, the back and forth, the presidential comments etc. and the lesson and reminder for me is that warriors have to keep fighting.
We can choose how, but we have to. You can fight by being loud, you can fight by being angry, you can use that mounting aggression to push for what you fu***ng deserve.
You can also focus in on you. On being happy, on being well. This is powerful too. We are connected, so you taking care of you has this beautiful ripple effect on all of those around you as well as the larger energetic vibe.
Warriors - please be well. Be strong in the way you choose, be aware of how all of this is impacting you. I know for me, the default is rage. Rage at the injustice of giving that kind of power to such a weak and awful man. Rage that there could not have been a more "appropriate" woman by society's standards, and her word, story and integrity was still not enough. The impossibility of it all is immobilizing in me. That is where my fight lies. In not curling up and letting it overwhelm me. It feels too big to fight, too ingrained to make a dent.
This post is a reminder for myself and hopefully for you to fight. Fight the overwhelm from whatever source is affecting you, fight for your needs, your wants and your happiness. Fight on Warriors.
