Proudly rooted in the Red Deer and Blackfalds community, Phoenix Fighters is a family-inspired apparel brand built on strength, resilience, and the belief that every warrior has a story worth telling.

As a boxing coach and through teaching the Phoenix Fighters program, I've always believed that being a fighter means so much more than stepping into a boxing ring. It's about building confidence, finding strength through adversity, and learning to rise when life knocks you down.

Those same values, along with my family's experiences, are the foundation of Phoenix Fighters and the meaning behind the apparel we create.

Strength in Every Ribbon. Fire in Every Fight.

Some battles are fought in the ring. Others are fought in hospital rooms, through treatments, and in the quiet moments when finding the strength to keep going feels impossible.

Our Rise for the Ribbon Collection holds a special place in the heart of Phoenix Fighters.

Inspired by and created in loving memory of my sister Jamie and her courageous battle with breast cancer, this collection was created to honour the fighters, the survivors, the loved ones we've lost, and the families who stand beside them through it all.

We've combined our signature Phoenix Fighters designs with meaningful awareness ribbons to create something that represents far more than apparel.

Each ribbon represents a different battle. Each colour carries a story, and behind every story is someone whose courage deserves to be recognized.

Cancer affects so many lives in so many different ways. This collection is about more than awareness. It's about honouring strength, resilience, hope, and determination, celebrating those who survive, and remembering those whose battles have ended.

Because being a fighter isn't always about winning a battle. Sometimes it's about finding the courage to face another day, the strength to rise above life's challenges, and the determination to keep moving forward. It's about growing through adversity, becoming a stronger version of yourself, and finding the resilience to face whatever battles life brings your way.

Formerly Phoenix Event Management, we're excited to introduce Phoenix Fighters, a new chapter built on family, legacy, courage, and resilience.

**Forged in Fire. Rooted in Family. Built on Resilience.**

Our story began long before our first piece of apparel.

Phoenix Fighters is rooted in generations of fighters and a strong legacy of family and community. But the meaning behind Phoenix Fighters reaches far beyond the boxing ring.

At the heart of our brand is a slogan that carries a powerful meaning:

**"A Fallen Warrior Will Always Rise From the Ashes."**

A true testament to resilience, determination, perseverance, and the strength to keep moving forward, even through life's most difficult challenges.

Our brand is also inspired by the strength and courage of my sister, whose passion for boxing and battle with breast cancer became an important part of the story we carry forward today.

Through our family's experiences, we've learned that some of life's greatest battles aren't fought in a ring. They're found in the challenges we face, the losses we experience, and the determination it takes to keep moving forward.

To us, this is more than a slogan. It's a reminder that no matter how many times life knocks us down, we have the strength to rise again.

Alberta will enter Stage 3 of its Open for Summer Plan on July 1.

The Red Deer Boxing Club was started in 1988 by my father Robert Carswell. Besides starting my own business this year, I spend most my time overseeing operations at the club. I am currently attending Ethos Business works, a 26 week self entrepreneur program until my completion in April.

This year I took over fund development (pre-covid) applications and was successful with receiving (5) grants from municipal, provincial and organizations clubs. I stay busy and look forward to planning future non-profit, sports and social events.

We are still looking for a new space to grow our club, so we can initiate new programs. I would love to collaborate with other community organizations to assist youth/women/underprivileged families in sports.
