On this special day, I’m reflecting on the legacy that’s been passed down through three generations of Nikolidakis men — a legacy rooted in the olive trees of Crete.

From my grandfather’s hands that first nurtured our family groves, to my father who taught me the value of hard work, honesty, and the purity of real extra virgin olive oil — I’ve learned that the best things in life take time, care, and deep roots.

Today, I’m proud to continue that tradition right here in Canada — sharing the same golden oil that our family has harvested for generations. 🇬🇷➡️🇨🇦

Job Summary: As a Sales Representative in the food industry, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting our products to retailers, wholesalers, and foodservice operators. Your role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance their product offerings. You will act as the key link between our company and the market, ensuring our products are effectively positioned and represented.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with management to create and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
Identify new market opportunities and target potential clients.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct regular follow-ups and check-ins to assess customer satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product line and market trends.
Conduct product demonstrations and tastings to engage clients and promote sales.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
Track sales performance against targets and report on sales activities and outcomes.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure effective product launches and promotions.
Provide feedback from clients to help shape product offerings and marketing strategies.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients to secure sales while maintaining profitability.
Close sales deals efficiently and effectively, ensuring a smooth transition from negotiation to fulfillment.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
