This afternoon, the two paramedics who passed away in the Line of Duty will be brought home. There will be a full es**rt every step of the way, in honour of their sacrifice.

Any members of our community, and those surrounding, who would like to show their respects as the es**rt passes by the Town, are asked to do so from the side of the road, preferably on any grass sections, with your vehicles parked in a safe spot off of the road. The estimated time is 3:30pm.

To our entire IEMS family, the Croucher Family, Roggevean Family, and MacKenzie Family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this incredibly difficult time.

We will take it from here.

We were fortunate to have Jacob from Maritime Electric stop by the fire hall, a few Thursdays ago.

He shared the importance of safety while working around power lines, and the proper procedures.

We work closely with Maritime Electric, whether itโ€™s a utility pole sparking, a structure fire, and all things in between.
