51 years of friendship… where do you even begin? We met when we were just 10 years old, and somehow, through all the seasons of life, we’re still here. ā¤ļø

You haven’t just been a friend to me—you’ve been a part of my life, my story, and my family. You’ve watched my children grow, loved them, been there through the laughter, the tears, the changes, the celebrations and all the ordinary moments in between.

There’s something incredibly special about having someone in your life who remembers the little girl you were and still gets to walk alongside the woman you’ve become.

51 years later… still my Bestie. 🄰

Happy Birthday, my beautiful friend. I love you and I’m so grateful we get to keep doing life together. ā¤ļøšŸŽ‰šŸ„‚

He presented me with a bouquet of flowers and said, ā€œI love you.ā€ ā¤ļø

As I get older, I find myself appreciating these moments more and more. Not the big things, not the expensive things… just these little unexpected moments that make me smile.

And maybe that’s why freedom has become so important to me.

I don’t want to be so busy working and chasing the next thing that I miss the life that’s happening right in front of me.

I want time to enjoy my husband, my family, my grandchildren and simply enjoy being present in my own life.

That’s a big part of why I do what I do.

It’s about building a life you’re not too busy to enjoy. ā¤ļø

This week, this is what my Saturday morning looks like. ā¤ļø

Physiotherapy for my back, followed by a little pit stop to see my beautiful daughter.

And somehow, the drinks she makes always taste that little bit better because of the sweet notes she writes on my cup. 🄰

It really is the little things. ā¤ļø

I’ve always loved bridges.

There’s something about standing between where you started and where you’re going.

Sometimes life feels a lot like that.

You’re no longer where you were…
but you haven’t quite arrived where you’re going.

And that’s okay. Keep crossing. ā¤ļø

ā¤ļø It’s about building a life you’re not too busy to enjoy.

Mondays, aka Nana Days, are a reminder of why time is such a priceless commodity. ā¤ļø

You can make more money.
You can replace things.

But you can’t get time back.

And these are the moments I never want to be too busy for. 🄰

Some days, I like to slow things right down. ā¤ļø

Life can get so busy that we forget to simply be in the moment.

So whenever I get the chance, I sit quietly with a cup of tea, practise a little mindfulness, and remind myself of all I have to be grateful for. šŸ«–šŸŖ“

Sometimes you just need to be still.

It’s about building a life you’re not too busy to enjoy. ā¤ļø

I’ve been a nurse for 40 years, but babies have always been my passion. ā¤ļø

Eleven years ago I became a Newborn Care Specialist, and I’ve never looked back.

But as my family grew, I found myself wanting something I didn’t think I could have:

The work I love AND more time for the people I love.

That’s one of the reasons I started building an online business.

Not because I wanted to stop working.

I wanted more choices about how I worked.

And that’s exactly what I’m building.

If you’re 45+ and you’ve been thinking about creating an additional income stream without adding another job to your already busy life, that’s the conversation I’m having over here.

Send me INFO and I’ll show you what I’m doing. ā¤ļø

I used to think having more choices meant having more money.
I see it differently now.

These days, I value having more say over my time, my priorities and how I choose to live.

Money matters. But so does having a life you actually have time to live.

ā¤ļø It’s about building a life you’re not too busy to enjoy.

Mondays look a little different these days… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. ā¤ļø

Just me, my grandson, a trip to the park and time I’ll never get back.

These are the moments I’m building my life around. 🄰

Sometimes the biggest shift in life isn’t changing your circumstances… it’s changing your perspective.

For a long time, I believed freedom came from having more time.

Then I realized that freedom often begins long before your schedule changes.

It begins the moment you start looking at your life differently.

Instead of asking, ā€œWhy can’t I?ā€ I started asking, ā€œWhat if I could?ā€

That one question opened my eyes to opportunities I had never noticed before.

The funny thing about perspective is that nothing around you has to change…

Just the lens you’re looking through.

ā¤ļø A different perspective can lead to a completely different life.

Question: What’s one mindset shift that has changed your life?
