HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED WHEN RUNNING YOUR OWN BUSINESS:

1️⃣ Stay Committed

If you want to accomplish your business goals, you need to commit to your motivation and finish all the tasks at hand, no matter what the situation is.

2️⃣ Find your desire

Why did you start this business? Is it to give your kids a better life than you had? To be able to be your own boss and set your own schedule? So you can retire early? Your desires will remind you of why you started and why you should keep going.

3️⃣ Challenge yourself to grow

Having a growth mindset will help you to perceive obstacles as opportunities.

4️⃣ Focus on small wins

Find joy in the small daily win, and in realizing the incremental steps that lead to long-term success. If you don’t give up, your small wins will add up into a big win one day.

5️⃣ Surround yourself with the right people

When you have a support group around you, your failures and rough patches don’t seem nearly so hopeless. Take time to genuinely invest and build positive relationships with the people around you and it will help you greatly in work and in life.

6️⃣ Welcome feedback

Feedback can either make or break your motivation, but it is an important part to help you grow and become a great leader.

7️⃣ Stay Positive

Starting a business can be overwhelming in many ways, but staying positive in the face of its ups and downs can provide you with perspective and allow you to appreciate the challenges with a sense of gratitude rather than dread. Your thoughts have immense power over your reality. If you can keep your head up and focus on staying positive, you’ll be much more likely to find success.

People are like seedlings - we need to be
nurtured and connected to nature, and our true selves, to grow.

We invest a lot of time cultivating everything else:
families, work, friends, and other interests. We look after them, prioritise them, and make time for them.

The thing is, we won't flourish if we don't take time for ourselves, our self-care, our relaxation, our mental and physical health.

We, through a lack of real effort stay alive, we may even grow but we will not truly thrive or bloom when we don't take the time and water ourselves and give ourselves what we really need.

When we become a priority, life gets better. We feel better, have more energy and ability to help or support others. We are not pouring from an empty cup, our cup becomes overflowing.

When we feel out of sorts, when we feel discomfort or discord there is a reason. Our life is communicating to us. It is likely we are not taking the time we need to nurture ourselves.

Action needs to be taken. What is it we need? What can we do to feel better? Time appears to be an obstacle, a reason, and an excuse for many people who do not take care of themselves.

We all have the same amount of time in a day; the difference is how we prioritise it. If you take the time to water yourself, you will blossom.🌻
