⚠️ PRRA May Become the Last Hope for Some Refugee Claimants Affected by Bill C-12 ⚠️

Under the proposed Bill C-12 / Strong Borders Act, many refugee claimants may become “ineligible” to have their claim referred to the IRB Refugee Board if they made claims after certain timelines or circumstances.

But being found “ineligible” does NOT always mean removal is immediate. Some individuals may still have options such as:

✅ PRRA (Pre-Removal Risk Assessment)
✅ Humanitarian & Compassionate (H&C) applications
✅ Judicial Review in Federal Court
✅ Risk-based legal arguments

PRRA allows applicants to explain:
🔹 Risk to life
🔹 Torture or detention fears
🔹 Political/religious persecution
🔹 Threats from police, gangs, or authorities
🔹 Country conditions and personal targeting

Every case is different.
Do not panic.
Do not disappear underground.
Get proper legal advice and understand your rights before making decisions.
